Lynnwood's labor force draws from both South Snohomish County and North King County.  Due to Lynnwood being a major commerce center of Snohomish County, over 65% of our workforce is in finance, insurance, real estate, services and retail trade.

Over 61% of Lynnwood's workforce has a college degree or some college, and it is no wonder with Lynnwood being the home to Edmonds Community College and the Central Washington Univerisity Education Center at Edmonds Community College.  The College also offers training programs to businessses via the Workforce Development & Training Department and the Small Business & Technology Center.  Our close relationship with the College helps facilitate access to these programs and training funds.

Additionally, Lynnwood partners with the Workforce Development Council-Snohomish County to help identify available funds and tax credits.
